Feyi Fawehinmi was born in Lagos, Nigeria and grew up living in northern and southern Nigeria. He has spent the last 15 years working in the financial services industry across banking, private equity, asset management and insurance. Feyi has been writing publicly for over a decade on his popular personal blog and in traditional media outlets in Nigeria, Britain and the US.

Fola Fagbule was born in Lagos, Nigeria. A banker and investment professional for the best part of the last two decades, Fola currently leads the Financial Advisory department of a leading African multilateral bank. He has previously made a living as a writer, working as a securities analyst developing and publishing research on companies listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

About the Author of Soldiers of Fortune
Max Siollun is a writer and Nigerian historian with extensive knowledge of Nigerian military history. Siollun’s objective writing has established him as a respected and distinctive voice on Nigerian history. His book “Oil, Politics and Violence: Nigeria’s Military Coup Culture (1966-1976)” has been one of the most well received Nigerian history books of recent times. Various commentators have referred to it as “a breath-taking narrative”, “stunning” and “a revelation”. His next book “Soldiers of Fortune: Nigerian Politics under Buhari and Babangida (1983-1993)” continues from where Oil, Politics and Violence ended, and will be published later this year by Cassava Republic Press. He is a graduate of the University of London and has resides in the UK and USA.
